1. What unusual or important event has happened to you since you turned 50 or 60?

Moved out of the city about 5 years ago and became stewards of wilderness acreage around our home near Alvarado. Pam & I enjoy feeding the horses, fish, dogs and the occasional wild turkeys.

2. Have you done anything exciting you have always wanted to do but for whatever reason you were holding back? For example; Have you started a new or unusual business, found a new hobby, or taken a trip somewhere you have always wanted to visit?

Built a lake on our property and stocked it with bass for pleasure fishing with friends and family.

3. What do you plan to do in the next five or ten years?

Focus time and effort on protecting the environment and continue to enjoy quality time with my wife, our grown children, and our grandson.

4. In this second or third chapter of your life, what have you done for someone else? Have you given something back?

Enjoy teaching children and adult Sunday school classes.

5. What is the best thing about your career?

Practicing law with my son has been a privilege, and I’m proud to watch his growing success with his own business, eJury.com.

8. What is the most fun thing you have done this decade?

Fishing on the Gulf coast with my son and son-in-law- when each of us had Redfish on our lines at the same time.

9. How are you different from the kid we knew in 1962?

Attention to healthy diet, exercise, and God’s word.

10. Served in the military? Like to share any of those experiences?

Yes, served in US Air Force Judge Advocate General’s office during Viet Nam era.
