Mike is very ill and is on the transplant list for a liver and a kidney. My attendance at the reunion depends on how he feels and if I can leave him.

Married 43 years, lived at the same address 42 years.

Hello all,

We have been married 38 years as of August 26th, our daughter’s 2nd anniversary and my mother’s 61st anniversary. I guess we have a trend going. Our son is still looking for the perfect woman...God help us all if he finds her!

We retired four years ago, Mike from Merrill Lynch after 35 years and me after 16 years in the hotel business. We have been traveling a lot since then and after a slight adjustment in our pace in life have really enjoyed it. We jump in the Tahoe and go. Lots of miles on the Tahoe and lots of miles on our butts driving and driving! 700 miles a day is nothing for us. We have been across the country from the Southeast to the Northwest and we have seen a lot of our beautiful country in between.

When we are at home I exercise all of the time...cardio, weights, yoga and water aerobics. Mike has joined the fitness center in self defense. I work for the Women’s Shelter in Arlington doing a 1 and 1/2 hour presentation called Project DATE in the high schools. The program teaches teens how to recognize dating abuse. 1/3 of our kids are involved in an abusive dating relationship before they graduate from high school...unbelievable!

It seems like yesterday we were all at AHS. I hope all is well with all of you.

ENJOY LIFE...this is no dress rehearsal.
